What Our Top Dog Says About The Sleepypod Crash-Tested Sport Car Harness:

The Sleepypod Clickit Sport is a crash tested car harness and also works perfect for everyday use. In the event of a crash, the patented design works to limit and distribute the force that could affect your dog. Extensive testing and a certification by the Center for Pet Safety for dogs between 18-90 lbs, the Clickit Sport has proven to be one of the safest harnesses your dog could wear in the car.

The Sleepypod Crash-Tested Sport Car Harness is light and easy to use, without sacrificing safety. The Infinity Loop webbing design, in combination with a padded vest, work together to distribute and reduce damaging forces that can cause injury. Clickit Sport comes with three points of contact for the most advanced pet safety restraint technology. The three points of contact reduce forward and lateral movement in the event of a collision or sudden stop, protecting a pet that can become a deadly missile that potentially endangers human passengers.

The Clickit Sport comes with an S Clip for ensuring your seat belt is locked and a buckle shield to prevent your dog from accidentally unbuckling. Dogs come in all sizes and shapes. For this reason, please check the sizing guide and measure your dog's chest to make sure you are ordering the correct size.

Here Are The Doggie Details:

    • Medium: 22.5" to 28" inches

    Sleepy pod click it sport

Love it Fits great just according to sizing chart. This is a lighter version of full sleepy pod click it that we’ve started with. Wanted this and an alternative with a design providing better opportunity for outdoor movement. We trust Sleepypod and have utmost confidence in it to protect our dog as a car restraint device. Lina sits comfortably settled into the car seat with it on. Ordering shipment all fast and simple Keeping dogs safe had stock in our size while everyone else was out of stock

    Not working out so well

My dog hates it and he gets all twisted up in the seatbelt and I can't get him into the seatbelt alone. I can't use it in him. He's too big and too powerful and he's going to get hurt.

    Great harness

This is the first harness that I’ve found that not only passes crash tests but is adjustable enough to actually fit my dog and not slip and slack when using it as a walking harness.

    Secure harness

It fits a little awkward and took a few days for my dog to be more comfortable. But that said, I really feel better with how secure he is and we're driving. He has figured out how to even lay down once he's connected. I think there could be a few design changes but overall it's worth the little extra money over a basic harness.

Great Harness but not for all dogs!

Context: My pup is a 70+ lb Lab/Hound mix who is still a puppy and still a leash puller. I ordered a Large based off the sizing guide.

I purchased this car harness due to the crash test rating and general reviews; however, it won't work out for my pup.

    PROS:
-- The harness itself seems to be well-made and of high quality regarding the padding and stitching
    -- Good-looking design
-- The two d-rings for walking are a bonus
-- the straps seem high quality
-- While it's a bit cumbersome to loop a seat belt through this system, my pup was definitely secure in the back seat and had no issues sitting and being in the down position
-- Ability to tuck in and velcro down excess parts of the straps is nice

    CONS:
-- The sizing is off for my pup. I went by the sizing guide and the rib area fits well but the chest/neck area is REALLY loose even after adjusting the straps to the tightest length.
-- If you have a pup who is a leash puller or hasn't mastered loosh leash walking, I would not recommend this as your walking harness because the straps come loose pretty easily.
    -- Plastic parts
-- Reflective strips starting peeling after 1 day of use
-- Hard to re-adjust straps if the harness is on your pup

I did some follow-up research and have read the Sleepypod Terrain is a slightly safer harness with higher quality-parts and seems to work better as a walking harness than this model.

Fingers crossed I can exchange and pay the difference in price easily!
